1918<\/h5>\n

The story of the Marzullo family’s<\/strong> activity begins with Francesco Marzullo<\/strong>, who began his career as a young boy as an apprentice in a local workshop, rewinding direct current and alternating electric motors.<\/p>\n

1958 \u2013 The first company, LIM, is founded<\/h5>\n

Decades of work experience combined with the appetising development of the Apulian electromechanical market led Francesco\u2019s sons, Carlo and Vito Marzullo<\/strong>, to found their first company,\u00a0 LIM \u2013 Laboratorio Indotti Marzullo<\/strong>, which was a small workshop initially specialised in the repair of car dynamo inducements and starters.<\/p>\n

1975 \u2013 The electrical services company, SIEMEC, is founded<\/h5>\n

Evolution of the market caused the three brothers to close the LIM<\/strong> workshop to start up a bigger company, currently known as SIEMEC<\/strong><\/a>, specialising in ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of electrical, civil and industrial systems, as well as in light carpentry works, according to customer specifications.<\/p>\n

1982 \u2013 CMT, Costruzione Meccanica Torneria, is founded<\/h5>\n

The desire to grow and diversify the business convinced the Marzullo brothers to found CMT<\/strong><\/a> which, operating in the field of mechanics, began its activity to address the needs of SIEMEC’s<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0own customers.<\/p>\n

To carry out this work, initially, second hand or even disused machinery by customers such as FIAT<\/strong> was employed.<\/p>\n

In a year of significant change, 1990 saw the purchase of its first new mechanical multi-spindle turning machine<\/strong>, along with the recruitment of nine new employees who became part of the company\u2019s organisation. Besides this, its customer portfolio expanded much to include companies such as Magneti Marelli<\/strong><\/a>, Federal Mogul<\/strong><\/a>, AP Productive<\/strong> and SKF<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

2015 \u2013 II Generation<\/h5>\n

In 2015, Francesco Marzullo<\/strong> (grandson) took over the company, acquiring 100% its shares. Thus, CMT<\/strong> became a single-member limited company. New ownership, new ideas, new projects.<\/p>\n

The company has since grown and diversified not only in the products it makes, but above all, in its customer portfolio and outlet markets. Nowadays, CMT srl<\/strong> can be considered as a small globalised company.<\/p>\n

2022 \u2013 Investments<\/h5>\n

Industry 4.0<\/strong>, new technologies, environmental and occupational safety certifications.<\/p>\n
