1918 – 1948 The beginnings of the Marzullo family business date back to the post-war period, a time where the will to leave the miseries of the war behind and the desire to return to a time of prosperity claimed the hearts and minds of many…. It was during this time that Signore Francesco Marzullo, still a young boy, started working in the field of electrical mechanics as an apprentice in a local garage, rewinding alternating current electrical engines. 1949 – 1957 The experience gained by their father? over the years and the appeal of the growing electrical mechanics field in Puglia convinced the two brothers, Carlo and Vito Marzullo to set up a small workshop: LIM ( Laboratorio Indotti Marzullo – Marzullo Inductive Laboratory). The business’ chief task was rewinding electric coils for dynamos and starter engines for motorized vehicles. The continual demand for work and expertise in this field led to new opportunities, including rewinding of electric engines and transformers, both direct and alternating current, along with the involvement of other family members, including the present-day administrator, Luciano Marzullo.
